Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado was Exceptional Student



As children, our parents encourage us to work hard and earn good grades. Some students don't put much stock into their parents advice as other students. For students who possess the wisdom to take their parents or other authoritative figure's advice, the rewards may be great.
Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado knew to work hard as a student. He wanted a successful career and prove that he could be one of the best students in the medical field. During his academic years, Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado's honors and list of scholarships is impressive. 

In 2003, Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado became a member of the Alpha Chi Honors Society. He is presently a member of the fraternity. From 2004 to present day, he continued to make the National Dean's List. Still, these achievements are only part of his academic success.
From 2001 to 2004, Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado received the University Upper-class Scholarship and the University Upper-class Science Scholarship. In 2004, he was named Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges and graduated summa cum laude. Continuing his education, Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado received the Washington State Employees Credit Union Scholarship and the University of Washington Geriatric Scholarship in 2005. 

In 2006, 2007, and 2008, Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado received two more scholarships for his work and studies as a medical student. He succeeded in receiving the Bank of America Medical Endowed Scholarship and WWAMI Scholarship from the American Medical Association Foundation. These were the last two scholarships Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado received for his studies. 

While he no longer needed scholarships, Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado continued to be recognized for his excellence. Nominated by the 3rd and 4th year medical students, Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado received one of the Medical Student Educator of the Year Awards for the 2010 to 2011 academic school year.
