Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado Contributes to the Realm of Medical Research



Medical professionals never stop learning. His first poster presentation was delivered in October of 2005, in Seattle, Washington. He presented; "Causes of Death in the HAART Era: Perspectives from a Combined HIV and Hematology/Oncology Primary Care Practice" at the Thirteenth Annual AIDS Malignancy Consortium. 

After his presentation, Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado's first three articles centered around HIV and mortality. His first article was published in Blood in 2006. The same year, his second article; "HIV Associated Mortality in the HAART Era" was published in AIDS Reader. His third article wasn't published until 2008. Published in the American Journal of the Medical Sciences, Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado and four others contributed to "Causes of Death in the Era of Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART): A Retrospective Analysis of a Hybrid Hematology-Oncology and HIV Practice and the Seattle/King County Adult/Adolescent Spectrum of HIV-related Diseases (ASD) Project."

In 2011, Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado gave his second poster presentation. After his abstract was accepted, Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado presented at ASA Conference in Chicago, Illinois. His presentation was about ultrasound-guided transpectoral axillary vein catheterization. This presentation was related to his fourth article published in 2012.
"Real-time Multimodal Axillary Vein Imaging Enhances the Safety and Efficacy of Axillary Vein Catheterization in Neurosurgical Intensive Care Patients" was published in the Journal of Neurosurgical Anesthesia. This is Matthew Uhlenkott of Aurora, Colorado's most recent published work.
